EIN stands for Employee Identification Number. It is also referred to as Federal Employer Identification Number, Tax Identification Number, and Federal Tax Identification Number. An EIN is issued to all corporations established in the US. The EIN is used to track the income and any debts of a company.

What is a DUNS, and how can I get one?
A DUNS is a unique nine-character identification number provided by the commercial company Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). A DUNS number is now a requirement for any business that receives Federal assistance. The process to obtain a DUNS number takes about 10 minutes and is free of charge.
